Would be nice to be able to run a command like in a nutshell, i.e. sudo
apt-get update && synaptic.  (not that I use synaptic, it is just an
example :).  I know this is most of the time not possible, e.g. in panel
launchers, verve, shortcut editor, ...

Is this a GTK+/GLib restriction?
