I don't think so (too).  Mousepad is the one I launch to show up a file
quickly.  And if I'm not wrong, Xfce is now the only desktop
environment to provide a simple text tool.  While GNOME has Gedit and
KDE has kwrite/edit/... they both take longer to load.

I'm really happy for what Erik has done.  Thank you.
