Permit me to comment unrestrictedly: (please read with 1kg of salt - pun partially intended)
- too green, indeterminate background. Xfce can handle a bit more detail in the back I think
- too gnomish desktop layout - almost looks like a copy to me (where did the hiding panel go?)
- the LED clock is (sorry) gay, we don't think motif style frames are cool either anymore
- the gtk theme looks like it saw the new dual core mac walk by: pale
- the window manager theme - I'll just say nothing
final conclusion:
*** EXCELLENT *** X^D
this will certainly attract a lot of publicity towards Xfce. Every website will boast their unbiased reviews about how 4.4. looks and feels. Maybe they won't discuss all the new features and programs tho...
