Just a style thing, but I'm thinking using XDT_CHECK_OPTIONAL_PACKAGE
isn't the best idea here, since it'll introduce --enable- and --disable-
options to configure, and it's a bit confusing.  I think it's fine if
you just go ahead and do pkg-config xcursor --variable=icondir and use
it if it returns something, and assume it's older if it doesn't.
