HowTo install Xfce into home directory

Hi,
It turns out to be very big problem. Looks like applications do not care
about the compile time prefix when searching plugins. The dynamic
libraries will probably have conflicts too.
I cave up. I took another computer and removed the old xfce 4.2 from it.
Then I installed the xfce with installer and things are not much better:
*) in thunar, the Crystal SVG themes do not have folder icons
*) panel does not have configuration utility
*) settings manager does not know icons for
-> Preferred applications
-> Window manager tweaks
*) logoff screen does not know the icons for
-> Logout
-> Restart
These are for short the problems, currently
