No bug here. If you think that the the benchmark is wrong and want to 
use the compositor, then tell it by using the cmd line option.

It is important to understand that the compositor is now enabled by 
default, so that benchmark is mandatory to avoid using compositing on 
platforms without Render accelerated in hardware.

You may think that Render is fast enough even without hardware 
acceleration for your needs on your platform, and then use the command 
line option.

In any case, it's no worse than before where compositing was disabled by 
default... At worst you still need to "force" it use.
