Xfce 4.4beta1 build problem with panel

Hi there.

I've decided to install Xfce 4.4 beta1 and give it a try, but ran into
some problems building the panel.

I'm building Xfce using the fat sources archive. The build order is as
follows:

xfce4-dev-tools-4.3.90.1
libxfce4util-4.3.90.1
libxfcegui4-4.3.90.1
libxfce4mcs-4.3.90.1
xfce-mcs-manager-4.3.90.1
exo-0.3.1.6beta1
gtk-xfce-engine-2.3.90.1
mousepad-0.2.4
orage-4.3.90.1
Terminal-0.2.5.1beta1
Thunar-0.3.0beta1
xfce4-appfinder-4.3.90.1
xfce4-icon-theme-4.3.90.1
xfce4-mixer-4.3.90.1
xfce4-panel-4.3.90.1

I'm sending attached the build log.

As far as I can tell the problem is that the linker complains about
functions from libxfcegui4, but I cannot tell why since libxfcegui4
is exactly where it is supposed to be, the .pc file is also there and
everything looks just fine.

I'm installing under prefix=/usr/testing-xfce4.4beta1, but looked into
the generated panel/Makefile and everything looks fine to me. I'm
attaching it too.
