Porting panel plugins for 4.4

hi folks!

i tried to port the mount plugin, and i think it's quite done so far,
but i really don't get over this strange "i can't find exit()" error:

if anyone would like to figure out, see attached package. if it already
works, jasper can take it into his archive for 4.3 goodies.

note: use xdt-autogen to reconfigure everything if the curent configure
script does not work properly.
