New panel in trunk

Doesn't work for me. When the panel config dialog had a panel selection 
drop down, selecting the missing panel in it would cause it to reappear.

In my case, I mostly had one panel disappear. With the later builds I 
have been seeing both (I have two) missing.

Not easily repeatable for me, though -- hence the lack of a bug report.
