Changing workspaces doesn't fix it for me and 'xfce4-panel -a' just gives
an empty list of available plugins. Could this have something to do with
the fact that I just uninstalled the old panel (I had the new one
installed in a non-standard prefix). Installing the new panel to the
standard prefix didn't help.
