I agree here. I posted a screenshot of such a dialog on the wiki some days ago.

This is true that they are small. (but it is always possible to use launcher instead)

Also another thing:
why did you add an handle box to the task list and the icon box plugins? I say that mainly because I don't find that they are very good looking and also, I don't what they are usefull for, but that's perhaps just me.
