autogen.sh: You don't seem to have the Xfce development tools installed
on your system, which are required to build this software.
   Please install the xfce4-dev-tools package first, it is available
   from http://www.xfce.org/.

* Autogen/configure for module xfce4-dev-tools failed.

I didn't have this problem when I first installed xfce-svn on this
(Ubuntu) system a few days back. I had xfce4-dev-tools installed from
the previous svn update, then the script removed it (like it always
does) and then it tells me I need to have the dev-tools installed before
it will build and install the dev-tools. Doesn't make much sense to me.
