That's weird, not sure how that could have made a difference. At any
rate, please file bugs on Bugzilla in the future. I'm very bad about
handling this stuff via email, esp if I'm not in a position to look into
it when I read the email (like now).
BTW, regarding the gcc warnings log - what -W* settings are you using
for gcc? I didn't think it would ever complain about "unused parameter"
- - pretty stupid warning IMHO. Last I checked, it compiled fine for me
with --enable-debug=full (with gcc3), and that's really as far as I'm
gonna go. I don't particularly care too much about gcc4 at this point,
unless things actually aren't compiling (errors, not warnings).
