One thing that annoys me about K3B is the fact that it shows you a list of 
files, but the progam is in a state where there isn't a primary task taking 
place. For instance, I load up, see my .iso and instictively right click on 
it. Nothing. I have to go to Project->CD Project->Burn image, then have to 
navigate to find the image. I'm no HID expert, but I'd imagine that if you 
are going to show a list of files from the offset, then the files should 
somehow link to the task you want to perform and not be informational. I 
cannot see what purpose the filelist serves in k3b on loading. 
I can think of 2 possible task flows:

1. Start with a menu asking you what you want to do, eg "Burn CD image". The 
last option should be quit.
2. Present a file browser with context sensitive popup menus, eg "Burn ISO", 
"Add to current data project" (assuming a data project is the default. I 
think it would be as that's normally what you want).

Another flaw i find with K3B is that you need to know what kind of media you 
want to burn before starting a data project. This is stupid. If you are 
backing up a load of files, but adding them ad-hoc to your project, you will 
not know the final size of your project. I think it's far better to select 
your media when you press "burn". The program could even work out a default 
for you based on size.

Just to summarise: If I was writing a cd burning app, I would default to a 
"data project" task, present a file browser, have context sensitive menus, 
then media selection on "burn". Hmm.. I guess that it would make sense to be 
an extension of the default filebrowser...

Like I said, I'm no HID expert and have never used xfburn. It's just some 
random observations that I thought may be useful to someone.
