Yeah, I know, and I'm not sure why =(.  It doesn't seem to happen all
the time, and it looks like Pango is partially ignoring the width I give
it for the PangoLayout (note that if you have a couple icons, one of
them selected, you can tell that the selected one's text area isn't as
wide).  I'm don't really know what to do about it.
