Nope.  Right now it doesn't do any GUI messaging at all.  I plan to add
some, but I want it to be minimal: it would be really annoying if you
leave in the morning, your internet connection goes down, and when you
get home you have 40 error dialogs open.

Hmm, that's odd.  It appears that it tried to do a TLS negotiation
despite the fact that it detected a lack of STARTTLS support.  Is that a
contiguous section of output, or are there sections that are snipped?

Please file a bug on this; I don't have the ability to keep track of
these things over email.
