I would like a possibility to enter a path quickly directly, maybe a
browser like URL bar or something else.

Gtk-style directory buttons are nice, but if you quickly need to go to
/var/log/messages or something like that, you're faster if you can type
directly. Also, often you have long pathnames in clipboard and you need
to paste them.
