MD5 sums match up for me on ca-us.xfce.org, synced from xfce.org.
Perhaps just the SF tarballs are corrupt? Or maybe your .md5 file is
corrupt itself? I have:
ae6e91d1f866e3d69738b8f3d7f1ed06 xfce-4.2.1-rpm-fdr-i386.tar.bz2
The tarball unpacks fine for me as well, no errors.
Yeah, look at that - SF reports the filesize as about 1.3MB. Definitely
not right...
On a side note, how come the i386 RPM tarballs are ~23MB, and the x86_64
tarball is only 10MB?
