I just modified xdt-autogen to first check for versioned scripts that we
support (-1.9 and -1.8 for automake/aclocal and -2.59, -2.58, -2.57, and
- -2.53 for autoconf/autoheader), and then fall back to a non-versioned
script if that fails to find anything.  This should ensure that people
with multiple versions installed always run a version we require/support.

Hopefully Benny doesn't mind...
