Hmm, no go.  I tried removing some .cvsignore files from xfmedia, and
got this at the end of 'svn ci' output:

svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Can't open file '/var/svn/xfce/db/write-lock': Permission denied

Looks like write-lock is only writable by the xfce user, and not the
xfce group.
