xfwm4's wrap workspaces broken?

changing desktops (workspaces) by simple mouse-wheel scrolling is
one of those really elegant features which charactrise Xfce4 :
it sb  1  wheel-click/desktop & wrap at top & bottom.
why wd anyone want to change it ?
