strange messages from xfdesktop CVS version

I got xfce4 completely from CVS and installed the modules libxfce*, 
xfce4-iconbox, xfce4-panel, xfce-mcs-*, xfdesktop and xfwm4.

Upon starting xfdesktop I get a few hundred lines to stdout, all
saying:

*** attempt to put segment in horiz list twice

A text that does not appear anywhere in the source. Is there some 
leftover from 4.0 causing this?
