unfortunately, this will b0rk the xfce_4_0 branch.  i suppose, however, 
that a _copy_ could be made of the files, so aux.* -> xffm_aux.*, and 
then do "cvs remove" on the aux.* files for HEAD.  this will take them 
out of the build without killing xfce_4_0.
