Application Icons

Hello

If an application doesn't provide an icon, XFCE uses a quite ugly
default icon in taskbar, iconbox, switch-to-dialog etc. KDE has a quite
clever solution for this:

If the application provides an icon, it is used. If the application
doesn't, KDE looks for /usr/share/icons/$XRessourceNameOfApp.png and
uses this file if present.

Would it be possible to implement this behavior or an other possibility
to get a nice icon for e.g. rxvt in XFCE? If nobody finds time and
motivation for this, in which part of the sources would I have to dig to
bake up something like this myself?

Did you ever realize how much text fits in eighty columns? If you now consider
that a signature usually consists of up to four lines, this gives you enough
space to spread a tremendous amount of information with your messages. So seize
this opportunity and don't waste your signature with bullshit nobody will read.
