Looks like mcs manager is crashing while trying to load the xffm
settings plugin in the module's initialization functions.
This apparently confirms a problem I had noticed just recently. I think
the channel configuration from 4.0 with the old path (non-xdg) is not
compatible with the 4.2 config. If you delete
$HOME/.xfce4/settings/xffm.xml the problem should go away. I will modify
the plugin at CVS so that it will no longer try to load the 4.0 file.
