Hm, fresh checkout of xfce4/xfce-mcs-plugins gives me version 4.1.1 w/ xft 
options in plugins/ui_plugin, and xfce4-commits contains the commit message. 
Are you sure your xfce-mcs-plugins is up-to-date?
