It's neither a joke nor a typo, I really do have that many, but this
doesn't mean I keep in contact with them all the time.  Just think about
how many people you have in your address book :)

But given your response, maybe it's more normal to have a smaller number
(~20?) of contacts, so daring to click on the panel applet won't lead to
a contact storm on your desktop.  Thoughts?
