Sure. You are a developer? That's what CVS is for, developing code.
Some people say it's easier to say you're sorry than to ask for
permission. I usually only test stuff from CVS (downloading tarballs
overloads my memory circuits).

Ooops. There I go again. I'll go hide behind a tree ;-)

As for it to be included in a release, that's up to Olivier. You might
want to look at some related stuff we worked on for xfce3 but that never
saw the light. I'm not sure whether it's in lunar CVS, but it should be
at the sourceforge site.

BTW, Alan Cox duly noted that a terminal was lacking in xfce.
