cool. To maintain consistency with current HEAD xffm:

~/.config/xfce4
  |- xffm
~/.cache/xfce4
  |- xffm
     |- histories
     |- books
  |- xfce4-modules
     |- mime-icons
     |- mime-applications

The script for the above migration from xfce_4.0 (not CVS HEAD) would be
for histories and bookmarks:

$ mv ~/.xfce4/xffm/bookmarks.dbh ~/.xfce4/xffm/*.bm.dbh
~/.cache/xfce4/xffm/books

$ mv ~/.xfce4/xffm/xffm*2.dbh ~/.cache/xfce4/xffm/histories

$ mv ~/.cache/xfce4/xffm/histories/xffm.runflag.2.dbh
~/.cache/xfce4/xfce4-modules/runflag.2.dbh

$ mv ~/.cache/xfce4/xffm/histories/xffm.runlist.2.dbh
~/.cache/xfce4/xfce4-modules/runlist.2.dbh

 Files pertaining to a non-released version (CVS HEAD) should be
recreated by the application, as well as those which format requires
regeneration (applications.xml, trash.dbh, ...).

I'll commit the changes to xffm and xfce4-modules in a short while.
