Under xfce the SESSION_MANAGER variable is unset. The only variables
related to the session are:

DTUSERSESSION=greenman-olympus-0
SESSIONTYPE=altDt
SESSION_SVR=olympus

Under KDE:
local/olympus:/tmp/.ICE-unix/8710,tcp/olympus:43939

Under Gnome:
local/olympus:/tmp/.ICE-unix/9160,tcp/olympus:43945
