XFCE4 and kernel 2.6 ?

I've been using XFce4 with Linux Kernel 2.5.x/2.6.x for some time now and
havn't had any "click" problems. The new kernel uses different drivers
for PS/2 mice (better detection of mouse type) and so the difference in
behaviour might come from there.
