ohhh, i think "fixed up some code" was also unrelated to 
xfce4-menueditor.  i did fix up those 2 things, but i also messed around 
with some normal xfdesktop stuff (minor cosmetic things).  sorry 'bout 
that, that wasn't worded very clearly.
