Just for the record (gtk+ 2.6.0)

Hello,

    GTK+ 2.6.0 is out and I tried it "to see" if it shows bugs with XFCE 
and GNOME. I remember the XFCE 4.0.x days and the GTK+ 2.4.x bugs 
(margins in the panel were responsible for really tiny icons), but this 
is just to let you know for future development : that's why I do not 
open a bug report (add to this that I don't like BugZilla :)). 
Everything seems to work like a charm with GTK+ 2.6.0, at least 
everything work as with GTK+ 2.4.0, be it with GNOME or XFCE. One 
exception is the XFDesktop window and its menu that don't get refreshed:

report or a message to get "this a .0 GTK+ release / XFCE is developped 
with 2.4.x / GTK+ 2.6.x is not our platform / we should fix our bug
