How about an accelerator key for new tabs too, and accelerator keys for 
moving back and forth between tabs a la gaim, so you don't have to use 
the mouse? :)  I'm in the midst of revamping the menu generation so it's 
a bit more flexible, as well as making the accelerator key bindings a 
bit more elegant (only a little bit).
