Desktop Menu on other mouse button

In past rc's the desktop menu was on the left click of the mouse, and now
it's on the right, but there's no mention of the change in the code even
though the documentation reflects it.  I really would like to have the
menu pop up when I click my left mouse button.    Is there configuration
for this?  I can't find any and I can't figure out where in the xfdesktop
code the mouse click is actually trapped.

Any help would be welcomed!
