Olivier, I like you; You wanna be a user and have a group on my system, that's
okay, ;) , but i don't think that will fix this problem.
I think it is the libtool 1.4-vs-1.5 problem 'cause these are the files in
.../lib:
#> ll
total 24K
lrwxrwxrwx 1 18 2003-09-13 08:50 libxfce4util -> libxfce4util.1.0.0*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 18 2003-09-13 08:50 libxfce4util.1 -> libxfce4util.1.0.0*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 12K 2003-09-13 08:50 libxfce4util.1.0.0*
-rw-r--r-- 1 9.9K 2003-09-13 08:50 libxfce4util.a
-rwxr-xr-x 1 747 2003-09-13 08:50 libxfce4util.la*
which are missing the *so ; the typical problem when libtool is being used.
Now, FYI, I have a new system here with MDK 9.2 (RC2 w/ gtk-2.2.4 & gcc 3.3.1 &
libtool-1.4.3). It c/b MDK, however, I have been building XFce4 now for ~ 2
months & this never happened before with libxfce4util on MDK 9.0 (and an older
version of libtool-1.4).
So was something changed for RC4? If so, what? -how many SRPMS? -how to fix?
=====
Have A Great Day!

NOBODY would not have to complete the job now if SOMEBODY would have done the job that ANYBODY could have done.
