blender xfce issues

xfce makes impossible the use of blender.
blender is an opensource 3d realtime editor (www.blender3d.org)

ISSUE 1:
if you render in a window and then you close that window the wm will close 
the window and also blender. blender runs perfectly under others wm.
i hope you can fix this bug

ISSUE 2:
blender "must" run fullscreen to have the maximum work area. the layout of 
blender need to be in fullscreen mode without any frame around. other 
windows (like rendering) has frames. in kde and others wm works properly.

i'm using xfce4-rc3. I'd like to help for these fixes.
which files are involved into window creation and destruction?
