XFce 4.0 and Red Hat 7.2

Hello list !!

 Has anybody built XFce 4.0 on a Red Hat 7.2 ? Is it possible at all ?
I tried, but it needs many newer packages than these installed on a stock 
Red Hat 7.2. I would not hesitate to replace and upgrade much of the 
OS and proceed with the XFce build, but I`like to know whether there 
exists a chance that I`ll succeed.

PS. Just in case you wondered, I have to use Red Hat 7.2 :))).
