Sounds fine. And if some directory (like xffm) does not have an indent
pattern file uploaded by the maintainer, then you are free to use any
style you like on new code you add.
Just one important detail: whenever changing a file's indent style,
*please* do not make any other modifications because diff tools will not
be able to sort them out.
