mcs failing to load plugins

I updated everything from cvs today,made make distclean,./autogen.sh
etc. and it still gives me this errors:

I'm running on Suse 8.1 kernel 2.5.63,XFree86 4.3. kinda bleeding edge,
But it seems that it ain't the problem.

And for a another issue. it seems that cvs screws up fi.po file 'cause
of the utf-8 encoding. I have to convert from my latin9 version of fi.po
to utf8 version. is this 'cause I use iso8859-15 encoding and not utf8 ?
