Maybe because the xfce panel looks a bit like that one from CDE. Only a
joke. I don't even think that dtwm is Gnome compilant.

Ok, I didn't know that. Maybe this should mentioned in the FAQ

Because there are no Debian packages for gxine. But I'll use Mplayer
