I might be able to assist in that (3) endeavor.  Mandrake 9
here and already have (fixed) SRPMS & RPMS for beta 1 that
seem to be working AOK(and SRPMS should work for MDK 9.1).

Well, I could certainly notify cooker people at MDK and
others.
