mouse acceleration

Hello,

if I started xfce the first time I was very confused to have another
mouse accelleration and threshold in xfce than in other window managers.
I then saw the setting in the configuration tool.

Wouldn't it make more sense to let the default setting of X11 unchanged
until the user sets anoter value?
