xfdesktop & ~/.xfce4/menu.xml entity

I have following ~/.xfce4/menu.xml:

		<app name="All Settings" cmd="xfce-setting-show"/>

</xfdesktop-menu>

but when menu2.xml is updated (I modified menumaker to update that file
on active menus) it doesn't get updated on menu,so menu2.xml is readed
only on startup? this ain't a bug, just a thing I'd like to see fixed ?
