Web Page links and cvs

I wanted to get the CVS version of xfce4, but xfce's cvs is not working
right. (other sourceforge projects work fine). I tried the instructions
from the web page and various combination and permutations, but could not
get it so I resorted to the snapshot.  That however is a bad link. It
points to
http://www.xfce.org/archive/xfce4-cvs.tar.gz
When it should be
http://www.xfce.org/archive/xfce4-cvs-snapshot.tar.bz2
