slash in menu entry name

Hi,

I wanted to create a menu item that contains a slash, so I put something
like this into menu.xml:
<app name="foo/bar" cmd="something"/>

Really strange, but a submenu called "foo" appeared which contained an
entry "bar" which launched the required application.

I tried to replace the / sign by &slash; but then the menu didn't appear
at all.

Finally I discovered that escaping the slash with a backslash result in
what I want:
<app name="foo\/bar" cmd="something"/>


Is this the intended behaviour? I don't think so...

(I have libxml 2.5.7, if it matters.)
