deadline for .po files?

Hi,

It's been once mentioned here that you would like to release rc2, and
about a week later if everything is okay, release the final, which only
differs in the version number.

Does it involve that translation updates are refused during this time? Or
are they accepted?


Are there any rough assumptions how often a newer subrelease will appear?
(E.g. do you plan 4.0.1 for a few days/week/month/years later?)
