I think, you got me wrong about how to start the session manager. I
install a script xinitrc.xfce4-session, that should be used by
startxfce4 if available, if not, startxfce4 should start the fallback
xinitrc. Using which or similar detection methods is usually a back
idea (we already realized it with the update-xfce script). I'll change
it when I'm back at home (atleast if nobody else does first).

Martti: Just remove the xfce4-session stuff from the xinitrc for RC1
packages.
