The reason was that it is so much easier to do the release on SF like
this. The file release system is not very suitable for releasing many
files at once.

I'm hoping we can provide alternative locations for separate tarballs.
Benny's mirror at least has separate tarballs up.

Francois, Olivier, can we get the separate tarballs up on xfce.org? I
don't know if we want to archive releases, but it would be nice if at
least the current release would be available as separate packages from
an official xfce site.
