Q:
What is strange is that 3.8.x doesn't have any
problem at all launching and running <xyz> program...
A:
Not strange. The only thing in common between xfce3 and
xfce4 is the name.

should be a FAQ item. In reality, it may say "4.0" but it
is really "1.0" - a heck of a good 1.0, IMO, but still the
first release of a brand new DE which looks like XFce(3)
and has many of the same features.

Most will expect XFce4 to be everything that 3.8,x is and
_more_ when it is released. I have faith that it will
eventually surpass the functionality of 3.8.x in _all_
respects(y'all are great) but that will be a while.

WDYT?
